Story
The Riot Grrls are an ambitious all-girl punk band, and “Blood Mountain Massacre” follows them as they set out on a treacherous tour across the untamed, wild regions of Georgia. Although their tour is supposed to be a celebration of their new album, the anticipation soon gives way to a nightmare. The Deadbeats, a second, lesser-known band that is opening for them, travel with the band as they make their way through the wilderness.
When the tour van breaks down in the middle of nowhere and the bands are left stranded, things take a dark turn. They have no idea that Jackson Creed, an escaped psychopath, is hiding in the deep forest’s shadows. The assassin starts stalking the bands, killing them one by one while they work to fix their van and get assistance.
When the bands learn that the killer’s motivations are not random, tensions increase. It becomes evident that Jackson Creed’s past and the band members have unsettling ties. As the bands fight to survive and discover the reason behind their tormentor’s obsession, secrets and ulterior motives come to light. To make it out of the mountain alive, each member needs to face their own insecurities and fears.
Plot
An all-girl punk band and an opening act go on a tour through the isolated Georgian hills in the horror movie Blood Mountain Massacre. The terror that soon overcomes their music and companionship is the pursuit by an escaped psychopath. The band members discover unsettling connections between the killer’s past and their own lives as they fight to survive against this seemingly unstoppable killer. The film promises a suspenseful fusion of horror and music as the band’s struggle to survive turns into a terrifying investigation of betrayal and trust.
