Story
Sam Claflin plays the loving father Patrick McKee, whose life appears to be going well until a sinister character from his past reappears and jeopardizes his family’s security. Patrick was plagued as a child by the frightful story of the Bagman, a villainous figure who preyed on children’s anxieties. Even though he had been able to put those painful memories behind him, Patrick is forced to face his worst fears when the Bagman reappears.
Now, the Bagman is not just a childhood fantasy—it has a genuine, frightening presence and is coming for Patrick and his family. The children and his wife Karina (Antonia Thomas) are the new target of the evil schemes of the Bagman. Patrick is forced to confront the nightmares he thought he had outgrown, with his family’s lives in jeopardy. He sets out on a perilous quest to save those he loves, learning the dark history of the Bagman and discovering unspoken facts about his own past.
The movie looks at themes like bravery, fear, and the extent a parent will go to defend their family. Plot
“Bagman” explores the murky recesses of childhood anxieties and their horrifying propensity to reappear. Patrick McKee (Sam Claflin), a father who believed he had moved past his troubled past, is the protagonist of the tale. A shadowy figure who preyed on Patrick’s deepest fears, the Bagman, was a malevolent entity that terrified him as a child. Even though he was able to get away and start over, the Bagman’s influence will never truly go away from him.
Years later, Patrick and his devoted wife Karina (Antonia Thomas) and their young daughter Emily (Frankie Corio) appear to be leading a normal life. But when strange, unexplainable things start happening, their tranquil existence is upended. Strange events imply that the Bagman has made a comeback, but this time, Patrick’s family is the target of the threat.
Patrick is forced to face the Bagman again as his nightmares become more vivid and unsettling. With the sinister entity growing bolder and more dangerous, Patrick must delve into his traumatic past and confront the horrors he buried long ago. His struggle becomes a desperate fight for his family’s safety, pushing him to the edge of sanity.
