The ensemble gives strong performances, with Eric Roberts standing out as the ominous Bloody Tom. The film’s gripping suspense and surprising narrative turns keep viewers interested throughout.” – 4 out of 5 stars

Variety: “The Outlaws may travel over well-trod ground, but its original take on a traditional heist scenario invigorates the genre. The suspense is maintained throughout thanks to the direction and strong performances.” – 3.5 out of 5 stars

The New York Times: “While it occasionally becomes mired in its own complexity, the film’s attempt to transform a conventional western heist into a character-driven mystery succeeds in parts. Nevertheless, Liam James Collins gives a fantastic performance, making it a fun watch.” – 3 out of 5 stars

Rotten Tomatoes: “A gripping, brilliantly written narrative and a strong ensemble cast characterize The Outlaws. While the plot’s resolution may be a bit too obvious for some, it does a great job of setting up a high-stakes scenario.” – 7.0 out of 10.
