Plot Summary
Inadvertently discovering a high-profile assassination in progress, rookie detective Kate Farnsworth sees the vicious murder of a target by an enigmatic assassin, Gen. Gen changes his mind and spares her life just as he is about to kill her in order to silence a possible witness, but only if she swears never to reveal the identities of the assassins.
When Kate’s best friend is killed by the vicious Gondo-led Japanese mafia, her entire world comes crashing down. Motivated by sorrow and an intense yearning for retribution, Kate approaches Gen to request his assistance. But because of the small payment she offers, Gen turns down her plea.
