Academy Award-winning actress Michelle Yeoh recently tied the knot with her long-time partner, former Ferrari CEO Jean Todt, 19 years after his proposal in June 2004. The couple had an intimate wedding ceremony in Geneva, and the joyous occasion was confirmed by Brazilian racing driver Felipe Massa, who shared the news on Instagram.
According to the card displayed at the wedding, Jean Todt proposed to Michelle Yeoh on July 26, 2004, in Shanghai, and she gladly accepted. On the special day, after 6992 days since their first meeting, they celebrated their union with their beloved family and friends.
Felipe Massa also posted several photos from the wedding, including a selfie with the bride and groom. One of the images featured Michelle Yeoh holding her 2023 Best Actress Oscar statuette for her role in ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’, as reported by ‘People’ magazine.

Jean Todt, a former rally co-driver and racing director with victories for Peugeot and Ferrari, became CEO of Ferrari in 2004, the same year he met Michelle Yeoh. Their love story started when they crossed paths during publicity for Ferrari in Shanghai.
Regarding their long engagement, Michelle Yeoh humorously mentioned in a 2021 interview with The Guardian that they had been “threatening to get married for such a long time” and sometimes wondered if they had already done it.
Currently, Jean Todt serves as the UN Secretary-General’s special envoy for road safety, actively advocating and campaigning for road safety worldwide. He has one son, Nicolas, from a previous relationship.
Prior to her marriage to Jean Todt, Michelle Yeoh was married to Hong Kong billionaire Dickson Poon from 1988 to 1992.
