YouTuber Logan Paul recently shared his experience leaving the screening of Christopher Nolan’s film “Oppenheimer.” According to Logan, he walked out of the cinema hall halfway through the 3-hour-long movie due to what he perceived as excessive “exposition” and a lack of substantial events. On his YouTube podcast, IMPAULSIVE, Logan mentioned that the first 90 minutes of the film were primarily filled with dialogue and explanations, leading to a sense of dissatisfaction. He described it as “just an hour and a half, 90 minutes of talking, just talking talking. It’s all exposition. Nothing happened.”

This isn’t the first time Logan Paul has walked out of a Christopher Nolan film. He also left a screening of Nolan’s 2014 space movie “Interstellar” after only 18 minutes. However, upon rewatching it later, “Interstellar” managed to secure a place in Logan’s list of his top three favorite films.

In terms of box office performance, “Oppenheimer” has achieved significant success, crossing the $700 million mark globally. This achievement places the film as the fourth-highest grossing movie of the year. The film’s earnings comprise $285.2 million from the US and $432.6 million from the rest of the world. Interestingly, “Oppenheimer” is also notable for being the only R-rated movie to rank among the top 10 highest grossing films of the year. Prior to “Oppenheimer,” the highest grossing R-rated film was “John Wick: Chapter 4.”

The movie’s success has surpassed the box office numbers of other films like “Fast X” and “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.” It’s likely to soon surpass “Interstellar” in terms of box office earnings to become Christopher Nolan’s fourth highest grossing film, following “Inception” (2010), “The Dark Knight” (2008), and “The Dark Knight Rises” (2012).

“Oppenheimer” is a biographical film set during World War II that revolves around physicist J Robert Oppenheimer, often referred to as the “Father of the Atomic Bomb.” The story focuses on a critical period in history when Oppenheimer grappled with the consequences of testing the atomic bomb and the potential destruction it could cause. Despite his fears, he ultimately gave the order to proceed with the test. Cillian Murphy portrays J Robert Oppenheimer, while Matt Damon portrays General Leslie Groves, the leader of the Manhattan Project. Emily Blunt plays the role of Katherine Oppenheimer, J Robert Oppenheimer’s wife.
