Julia Fox has revealed that her upcoming memoir, titled “Down the Drain,” will touch upon her brief one-month romance with Kanye West. While the whirlwind romance with the rapper will be a part of her memoir, she emphasized that it will only occupy about “six pages” in the larger narrative.

During an exclusive interview with E! News on the red carpet at the Victoria’s Secret World Tour 2023, Julia Fox provided insights into what readers can expect from her memoir. She made it clear that her relationship with Kanye West, which followed the rapper’s split from ex-wife Kim Kardashian, would be a relatively small portion of the book.

“It’s like six pages,” Fox disclosed during the interview. “I feel like I went very lightly on it. I’m not trying to have bad blood or anything; it’s all in the past.”

Julia Fox and Kanye West ended their whirlwind romance in February 2022. Reflecting on the relationship in a later interview with ES magazine, the 33-year-old actress shared that she decided to end it “at the first sign of a red flag.” She pointed to unresolved issues that West was dealing with as a contributing factor to their breakup.

“The unresolved issues that he was dealing with,” she explained in September 2022, “just seem like he had a lot to work on, and I just don’t have time for it, or energy for it. I don’t have the bandwidth or emotional capacity for it. I’m proud of myself for that. Pre-Valentino Julia would have definitely stuck it out and been there for longer.”

In the meantime, Julia Fox has been focused on the release of her memoir, “Down the Drain,” scheduled for release on October 10. She expressed her excitement about the book and described the process of writing it as cathartic, allowing her to confront past experiences and feelings.

“I’m so excited for the book,” she shared with E! News. “I feel like it was just so cathartic to let go of all that because, in life, things happen, and you just kind of pretend that they didn’t happen and put them away on a shelf in your mind, and that’s it. And when you’re writing a book, you’re really forced to confront those things.”

Fox also emphasized her willingness to be vulnerable and unashamed in her memoir. She hopes that her story will resonate with others and provide them with a sense of empowerment.

“I’m not afraid to be vulnerable, like I don’t feel shame ever,” she added. “I’m like ‘This is what it is, ya know?’ I’m curious to see what the reaction will be, but I hope that it’ll be helpful, and other people can be like, ‘Oh wow, maybe what happened to me isn’t so bad. I can deal with it too.’ I always see your pain can be like your greatest gift, and you can even make it your purpose, and beautiful things can be born out of those awful feelings.”
