We’ve seen them a ton of times live and we always wanted to work with their music producer (John Fields),” they explained. Reflecting on their memorable first encounter with the Jonas Brothers, Switchfoot’s bandleader Jon Foreman recalled a conversation on their tour bus more than a decade ago. He shared a lighthearted memory of offering the young musicians advice about following their dreams, only to later witness them gracing the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. Foreman also mentioned collaborating with Joe Jonas on a song and the subsequent decision to create a reimagined version of “The Beautiful Letdown.”

The Jonas Brothers’ rendition of “The Beautiful Letdown” will be featured on Switchfoot’s upcoming LP, “The Beautiful Letdown (Our Version) [Deluxe Edition],” which is set to be a 25-track celebration of the band’s 2003 classic. This deluxe edition will also include new recordings by other notable artists like Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic, Jon Bellion, Dayglow, Tyler Joseph from Twenty One Pilots, and Ingrid Andress.
