Storyline

According to sportin’ women and daughters of sin, Joe Crist appears remarkably fit despite suffering a shotgun blast to his face and chest forty days prior. Not only did he avoid certain death (as opposed to limping away like the Toxic Avenger), but he also has a terrifying new purpose in life. In the same way that Doc Holiday was to Wyatt Earp, Dallas Valdez plays the title character Joe Crist, and Curt Lambert plays Del—Joe’s booze-loving, formidable sidekick. They are sent by God on a mission. Even though “Joe Crist” features a lot of gunplay and brimstone, it is a humorous high-adventure film. It is a charming film with lovely cinematography that never takes itself too seriously.”
