Story
An American-led fracking crew in Serbia unearths a living French soldier frozen from a Napoleonic campaign. The soldier’s body hosts a parasitic monster, leading to a terrifying fight for survival as the crew grapples with historical secrets and present horrors.
Plot
An American fracking crew is shown in the movie’s opening scenes operating in a remote area of Serbia. Leading the team is John (John Adams), accompanied by his partner Emily (Toby Poser), Sofija (Olivera Perunicic), their tech specialist, and Danko (Petar Arsic), a local guide. They find an old, sealed cavern as they continue to drill.
They discover the immaculately preserved corpse of Anders Hove, a French soldier from Napoleon’s campaign, inside the cavern. When the soldier awakens and realizes that a parasitic creature inside of him is keeping him alive, excitement soon gives way to dread. The crew is terrorized and infected by this monster, which sparks a last-ditch struggle for survival.
To find a way to stop the parasite, Mickey (Joana Knezevic), a tough and resourceful crew member, teams up with Teddy (Maximum Portman) and Filip (Boris Lukman). The crew comes to the realization that their only chance is found in the soldier’s past and the secrets he may have about the creature as tensions rise and the number of bodies grows.
