A week ago, Cloud buried his father and, according to his family, “intensely struggled” with the loss.
Fans’ favourite from HBO’s “Euphoria” series, Angus Cloud, passed away at age 25, according to a statement released by his family on Monday.

According to family members who spoke to NBC News, Angus had been struggling with suicidal thoughts ever since getting back from Ireland, where his father was buried a week ago.

His agents informed NBC News that he passed suddenly at his family’s Oakland, California, residence. According to the sources, he was staying with relatives as he processed his grief.

“The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend,” the family statement said. “Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”

About 11:30 a.m., according to a spokesperson for the Oakland Fire Department, first responders were called to a site connected to the actor.

The patient was found to be already dead when Fire EMS officials arrived, the spokesperson wrote in an email.

He stated that the reason of death was yet unknown.

On Monday, as soon as word of Cloud’s passing spread, admirers swarmed to the comment area of his Instagram post to pay their respects. A number of emotional condolences were left on one of his most recent posts that appeared to be a tribute to his father.

One comment read, “Rip the both of you are reunited again, sweet talented soul gone too soon.”

Another said, “I’m so sorry, sending love.” He was so nice.

Cloud, who gained notoriety for his breakthrough performance as Fezco in the HBO teen drama, claimed that a casting agent found him on the street and that he had never performed as an actor before the show. The devoted viewers of the sitcom instantly fell in love with his endearing and humorous demeanour.

He claimed in an interview with i-D magazine from March that he stood out from other performers since he didn’t want fame before accepting the part.

He stated, “They were working hard and saying, ‘I’m going to make it to the top. “For me, it was simply a chance that was too fantastic to pass up. I didn’t expect things to progress this far.
