Storyline
“Great White Serial Killer: Sea of Blood,” which is set in a small Mexican fishing village on the Sea of Cortez, examines a string of vicious shark attacks on nearby mollusk divers. Paul de Gelder and Brandon McMillan, investigators, arrive to film an enormous great white shark that is just offshore. They discover that the waters surrounding the village may be serving as a nursery ground for these sharks. The conflict between the sharks, who are essential to the marine ecosystem, and the villagers, who are out for vengeance, is explored in depth in the documentary. Mauricio Hoyos, an expert on sharks, and marine biologist Gádor Mutaner join the team as they continue their investigation, finding a large white “graveyard” in the desert.
