Ewan McGregor and Anne Hathaway are set to star in an exciting new adventure film directed by David Robert Mitchell for Warner Bros. The untitled project, produced by J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot, promises to take audiences on a thrilling journey back to the 1980s, complete with dinosaurs.

David Robert Mitchell, known for his work on the horror hit It Follows, has penned the script and will also produce the film alongside Abrams and Hannah Minghella. Matt Jackson of Jackson Pictures is also on board as a producer.

While specific plot details are being kept under wraps, the film is said to be a family adventure featuring dinosaurs, with Hathaway and McGregor playing the roles of the parents. The casting for the kids’ roles is yet to be announced, adding to the anticipation surrounding the project.

Executive producers Jake Weiner and Chris Bender of Good Fear Content are also attached to the film, which is being overseen by Sheila Walcott and Zach Hamby at Warner Bros.

McGregor, known for his diverse range of roles, will next be seen in the Showtime and Paramount Global adaptation of Amor Towles’ novel A Gentleman in Moscow, where he also serves as an executive producer. Additionally, he has produced and will appear in Larsson’s Mother Couch and Bleeding Love.

McGregor is represented by UTA and Sloane Offer, showcasing his continued involvement in a variety of exciting projects across different genres.
