The young group quickly learns that nothing is as it seems as they become comfortable on board. A terrifying secret that the ship is hiding could endanger their lives. As Kaya, Julian, and Tessa discover the sinister truths concealed within the ship, they must traverse the perilous waters, both literally and metaphorically.

The remote location and the crew’s enigmatic personalities help the film create tension. “Dead Sea,” which has a duration of one hour and twenty-eight minutes, keeps viewers on edge as the story develops and makes clear the actual nature of the danger they are in. A combination of psychological thriller and survival elements come together in the film’s climax, which leads to an intense and compelling ending.
