Accuser Slams Kutcher for Past Comments
Chrissie Carnell Bixler, one of the accusers of Danny Masterson, who recently received a 30-year prison sentence for rape, has taken to Instagram to criticize Ashton Kutcher for inappropriate comments made in the early 2000s. Bixler shared old videos of Kutcher from that era on her Instagram Story, comparing his behavior to that of Masterson.
Inappropriate Comments Resurface
In one of the resurfaced clips from a 2003 episode of “Punk’d,” Kutcher made a sexual comment about a then-15-year-old Hilary Duff, saying, “She’s one of the girls that we’re all waiting for to turn 18. Along with the Olsen twins.”
Another video showed Mila Kunis recalling a side bet between Kutcher and Masterson when she was just 14 years old on the set of “That ’70s Show.” Kunis explained that Masterson had bet Kutcher $10 to French kiss her.
Bixler also posted a video in which Kunis sat on Kutcher’s lap as a teenager in a promo for the sitcom. Kutcher made suggestive comments, and Kunis laughed and screamed. Additionally, there was a clip of Masterson commenting on Kunis’s attractiveness when they first started working together on the show. He said, “14, she was even hotter [then], if I’m allowed to say that.”
Accusations Against Kutcher
Bixler criticized Kutcher by stating that he is “just as sick” as Masterson. She also condemned Kutcher and Kunis for writing letters of support for Masterson during his trial.
Kutcher and Kunis Apologize
In response to the backlash, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis issued apologies for their letters of support for Danny Masterson. In their video posted on Instagram, Kutcher acknowledged that their letters may have caused pain and emphasized their support for victims of sexual assault, abuse, and rape. They clarified that their intention was not to undermine the victims’ testimonies or re-traumatize them.
Neither Kutcher, Kunis, nor Masterson have responded to the resurfaced videos at the time of writing.
