Storyline
The notorious Camp Blood horror series is continued in “Camp Blood 9: Bride of Blood,” which approaches the slasher genre in a novel yet recognizable way. “Camp Blood 9: Bride of Blood” is an homage to vintage slasher movies, fusing a self-aware sense of humor with a charming low budget aesthetic. Will Collazo Jr., the director, infuses the series with a nostalgic feel while adding fresh turns that maintain the narrative interesting. Despite being limited because of the low budget, the practical effects in the movie successfully provide the required gore and scares. The Killer Clown is still a terrifying character, and his pursuit of a bride gives him new depth.
