Storyline

“And God Made Man” tells the tale of Lindsey McCabe, a high school student who loses to a transgender athlete, shattering her hopes of receiving a college scholarship. Motivated by a feeling of unfairness, her father takes up a legal battle to ensure justice. Finding a lawyer willing to take on the contentious case turns out to be challenging, and getting to trial is even more difficult. When Lindsey’s father’s lawyer persuades the judge to take God and the Bible into consideration as evidence, the narrative takes a decidedly religious turn. The movie, which stars Dean Cain and Kevin Sorbo, explores how faith and science interact with this contentious political issue.
