A 2-year-old boy has been found safe, and the suspect has been taken into custody, thus the amber alert that was issued Saturday night has been cancelled.
The alert was distributed by the Becker Police Department and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, who were searching for a kidnapped 2-year-old boy.
The youngster vanished around 7:26 p.m. Saturday, and the authorities said they were also looking for a 41-year-old man with the same last name in connection with that. The BCA cancelled the alert at approximately 5:44 a.m. on Sunday, noting that the youngster had been located safe and that the culprit had been apprehended.

The suspect is not permitted to contact the youngster due to a court order.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) was called due to the conditions at the time of the call, and an Amber Alert was issued to help find the youngster, according to police.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint from a Baxter resident about 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, reporting that they had seen movement inside a shed with the lights on. This house was connected to the suspect.
After setting up a perimeter and engaging in negotiations for nearly 3.5 hours, police were able to capture the culprit. The kid was discovered unharmed.
