Full Swing Season 3: Shocking Arrest, New Rivalries, and a Smokin’ Hot Swede
A Season Full of Surprises and Personal Stories
The world of professional golf is back in the spotlight with Full Swing Season 3, promising an even deeper dive into the personal and professional journeys of the sport’s biggest names. This season, the hit Netflix docuseries from Pro Shop Studios, Box to Box Films, and Vox Media Studios takes a step back from golf politics and instead focuses on the players’ personal triumphs, struggles, and relationships.
Returning to Character-Driven Storytelling
Executive producer Chad Mumm explains that while Season 2 focused heavily on the PGA Tour’s battle with LIV Golf, this time around, the storytelling returns to a more intimate, character-driven approach.
“We wanted to get back to that character focus … less intense macro drama of the world politics of golf,” Mumm says. “[We’re] back to being in people’s homes and meeting their spouses, their friends, their sisters.”
Despite the shift in storytelling, the drama is still very much alive—only this time, it’s the players themselves bringing it. Season 3 explores Scottie Scheffler’s history-making run and unexpected legal troubles, Rory McIlroy’s emotional roller coaster, Bryson DeChambeau’s transformation from controversial figure to fan favorite, and Keegan Bradley’s bid for redemption.
Fresh Faces Bring New Energy
One of the most exciting aspects of Season 3 is the introduction of fresh talent, including Ludvig Åberg, the Swedish sensation known for his ice-cool demeanor and effortless charm.
“He’s been called a golfing robot,” Mumm shares. “But our cameras captured a different side of him—his humor, his charm, and his incredible smile.”
Another standout addition is Neal Shipley, a young golfer who found himself playing alongside the legendary Tiger Woods at the Masters.
“Neal is incredibly authentic,” says Mumm. “He’s funny, relatable, and completely unfiltered.”
The season also highlights sibling duo Min Woo Lee and Minjee Lee, who have been coached together since childhood. Min Woo, known for his swagger and social media presence, is a stark contrast to his sister Minjee, a quiet but dominant force on the LPGA Tour.
