Get ready for more chaos, comedy, and covert missions—FUBAR Season 2 lands on Netflix June 12! Arnold Schwarzenegger is back as Luke Brunner, and this time, he’s joined by action legend Carrie-Anne Moss in a season that promises bigger laughs, wilder stunts, and shocking twists.

Here’s everything you need to know about the highly anticipated return of FUBAR.

When Does FUBAR Season 2 Come Out?

Mark your calendar! FUBAR Season 2 premieres June 12, 2025, exclusively on Netflix. The second season features eight all-new episodes packed with high-stakes missions and family drama.

Creator Nick Santora calls it “bananas,” and Arnold adds, “It’s bigger. It’s better. It has more laughs. It has more of everything... including one more legend!”

Who’s Joining the Cast in Season 2?

This season brings in one major new face: Carrie-Anne Moss (from The Matrix and The Acolyte) joins the cast as Greta Nelso, a former East German spy and Luke Brunner’s ex. Let’s just say, things get complicated.

Returning Cast:

  • Arnold Schwarzenegger as Luke Brunner
  • Monica Barbaro as Emma Brunner
  • Travis Van Winkle as Aldon
  • Fortune Feimster as Roo
  • Milan Carter as Barry
  • Fabiana Udenio as Tally
  • Jay Baruchel as Carter
  • Scott Thompson as Dr. Pfeffer
  • Andy Buckley as Donnie
  • Adam Pally as The Great Dane
  • Tom Arnold as Norm
  • Aparna Brielle as Tina
  • Barbara Eve Harris as Dot
“My team from Season 1 became even more of a family,” says Schwarzenegger.

What Is FUBAR Season 2 About?

FUBAR blends action, comedy, and family drama into one wild spy ride.

At the end of Season 1, the entire Brunner team's cover was blown—and Season 2 picks up right in the aftermath. Now that Luke, Emma, and the team’s identities are exposed, they’re in serious trouble.

But that’s not all.

This Season’s Challenges:

  • A possible mole in the agency (Is Tina hiding something?)
  • New missions with international stakes
  • Old flames rekindled (hello, Greta)
  • A dance scene you won’t believe (yes, Arnold dances!)

Creator Nick Santora teases:

“They’re in deep dog doo-doo, for sure. And the only way out… is through. Together.”

Carrie-Anne Moss Joins the FUBAR Universe

Moss plays Greta Nelso, a no-nonsense German spy with a complicated past—and a fiery history with Luke.

“They are icons,” says Santora of Schwarzenegger and Moss. “They know how to do action, be funny, and create full and engaging characters.”

Moss herself couldn’t resist the role:

“I watched the show, and I laughed so hard... And working with Arnold? Amazing.”

Their chemistry on set was instant. From gym sessions to dance rehearsals, the two stars clicked.

“He’s just a hoot,” Moss says. “Fun is just the word that comes up all the time.”

Behind the Scenes: Fun, Fails, and Firsts

Filming began in May 2024, and the cast didn’t waste any time having fun. The blooper reel from Season 1 showed just how much the team jokes around between takes.

Fun Facts:

  • FUBAR broke a Guinness World Record by building the world’s largest action figure (Luke Brunner, 22.14 feet tall!)
  • Arnold’s legendary accent was a favorite on set—his co-stars tried to mimic it daily
  • The most bloopers? Fortune Feimster. “She just keeps going,” says Arnold.
  • The hardest worker? Monica Barbaro. “She had so many lines, she never stopped memorizing,” Feimster shares.
“If you get Arnold to smirk, that’s a win,” says Milan Carter. “That’s how you know you nailed it.”

Behind all the laughs and explosions is a top-tier production crew.

Where to Catch Up on FUBAR

If you haven’t seen Season 1 yet, now’s the time to binge. With a mix of spy thrillers, family dysfunction, and comedy, FUBAR delivers a unique ride unlike anything else on Netflix.

And don’t miss the blooper reel—from on-set pranks to failed lines, it’s a hilarious behind-the-scenes look at the show.
