Zaina Gohou Found A Silver Lining During The Covid-19 Pandemic 2

The ongoing pandemic has obliterated our modern world, harshly impacting the economy and enacting strict travel restrictions upon us. Before the world was plagued with Covid-19, technology and fashion entrepreneur Zaina Gohou was in New York City, making travel arrangements for her work oversees for the summer and spring seasons. The pandemic was nothing like the world had seen before, having an extremely detrimental effect on all aspects of life- economics, travel, and lifestyle. New York was one of the areas hit the hardest, and there was a mass exodus from the state, as many people fled to places with less restrictions. Gohou was assessing all available options at the time, and ultimately decided to book a one-way flight to Heidelberg, Germany. Little did she know, this would turn out to be a very wise decision.

Gohou is well-versed with life in the fast lane, she was determined to not let the government mandated lockdown keep her tied down. Gohou is a model, actress, and eco-friendly strategist- not the type of person that can remain confined to one spot, for an extended period of time. During her time in Germany, she carefully planned all of her days to keep her spirits up, and to remain focused. Germany was one of the few countries that did relatively well in dealing with the initial wave of the pandemic, so Gohou was able to go outside and maintain some level of sanity. After several months, many countries in Europe were able to successfully curb the spread of the virus, and restrictions began to be removed much sooner than expected.

Before Gohou resumed her travel activities, she made sure to take all the required safety measures to prevent contracting the virus. She also made sure to get tested frequently to preserve the well-being of those she was meeting with. Like everyone else, she was afraid, but she knew that she had to move forward and be pro-active, her career depended on it. Gohou remained consistent in her approach to safety, and headed to a photoshoot in Spain in the month of June.

More and more countries began lifting travel restrictions as the virus seemingly eased, and Gohou saw a tremendous increase in her work. She did not take every job offered, as she was conscious of her health and the health of others. She made sure to self-quarantine in between every job, and was tested numerous times to safeguard her wellbeing. During the pandemic, Gohou had work in Corsica, Madrid, and Croatia.

When travel started to pick up, Gohou had a successful process in place to stay healthy when going to different countries. She had repeated negative tests, and felt the need to help those people who took a large financial hit, as a result of the pandemic.

Gohou had a friend in Ibiza who just invested a sizable amount of his savings into renovating his grandmother’s house, he was planning on renting it out during the summer. She organized a trip with her friends to come visit her friend in Ibiza, and rented out the place as a show of support. The group was very cautious with safety, as one of their friends had just beat cancer.

The group made a pact in camaraderie, deciding to stay for a month to strengthen their health and wellness. This stay freed the group of any stress or concerns, and allowed them to immerse themselves in nature and its healing power. They worked on improving their immune system by taking trips, eating healthy, and exploring various holistic remedies. They grew closer together as they spent hours talking about life, and the realizations that come with it.

Gohou was able to find a silver lining in the wake up of the daunting pandemic, growing closer with her circle of friends, and improving her health in a beautiful destination. Gohou believes this made her stronger as a result, as she was able to take a much-needed pause from her hectic life. Connecting with nature and long-time friends is always important, as the beauty of life lies in the little pleasures we often forget about.
