We came across one such high-performing and passionate individual, who serves as a noble policeman of Dubai, who absolutely loves animals and has taken his passion for animal husbandry to the next level; he is Lieutenant Colonel Masoud Alhammad.
We have long known stories about people who love their pets, but how many of the times have we heard about people who love to tame exotic animals? Well, Masoud Alhammad is all about this and much more. He is a generous man who serves Dubai dedicatedly as a policeman and otherwise has devoted himself for the wellbeing of animals. He absolutely loves to surround himself with wild animals and loves to take care of them. Currently, he serves as the Vice Chairman of the Dubai Police Committee. His love for animals is something that has attracted the attention of many over the years and Masoud Alhammad has also gone beyond boundaries to create a loving environment for all these wild animals. This is something only a few professionals have done for their love for animals and Masoud Alhammad’s name tops the list of such people.
Masoud Alhammad began with his animal husbandry project and converted his garden into a small exhibiting business. He has been taking care of exotic animals and has also installed various plants and flowers like Marigold, flamingo, snapdragon, red jasmine, etc., in the garden, which has now been transformed into a proper park where it has attracted the attention of foreigners as well. Many species he takes care of include Albino Leopard Cat, White Crows, White Tigers, Komodo Dragon, Ring-Tailed Lemur, Albino Owls, etc.
The passion of Masoud Alhammad only kept growing and he went ahead in converting his park into a zoo, approaching the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Government of UAE to enable him to acquire more land and resources. For adding more attraction to his zoo, he even contacted many governments of various countries to add more flora and fauna. Not just that, Masoud Alhammad has gone a step further by arranging training schools for all those who wish to make a career in animal husbandry and botanical subject.
