In the last few months, the coronavirus pandemic has created a ruckus all over India. The second wave of the pandemic was worse than the first one. However, the country has managed to tackle the situation brilliantly. Not even a month ago, the active cases of the virus were 400,000 in a day. The number has now drastically come down to less than 80,000 in a day. All thanks to the vaccination campaigns that are happening in full swing all over India. Along with the vaccination drive across the country, many influential names have contributed immensely during the crisis. Sachin Shinde, a Mumbai-based politician and social worker has been instrumental in helping people during these dire times.?
The social worker has been a part of the Bharatiya Janata Party for quite a long time. Widely known for his charitable and philanthropic works across Mahim and Matunga areas of the city, he was recently conferred with the Lokmat Political Icon of Mumbai Award. Right from arranging plasma, oxygen concentrators and hospital beds, Sachin Shinde?s team has been making humongous donations across the state of Maharashtra. ?The state was one of the worst-hit in India, but now the situation is under control and will hopefully get better soon?, the politician revealed. Additionally, he even praised how the central government is accelerating the vaccination drive all over India.?
Furthermore, Mr. Shinde revealed that all the citizens of the country should be vaccinated soon. He said, ?As and when the booking slots are open, people should go ahead and get their vaccination done. The only way to control the deadly virus is to get all the people of the country vaccinated.? After receiving the award, Sachin Shinde expressed his gratitude and said that he wants to set an example for the youth all over the country. According to him, humanity stands above everything, and the act of kindness should not get diminished under any circumstances.?
Even before the pandemic hit India, Sachin Shinde?s NGO ?Maitri Foundation? has been doing charitable works. The politician has earlier done some incredible works including the Clean Water Project, Calendar Distribution, Women Empowerment Program, Children Education & Encouragement Program and many other initiatives. With the main motive to build a developed India, the social worker is putting in the best effort for the country. His willingness to give more is what makes him one true leader.
