Malsons Media to launch Jubin Nautiyal?s international music debut in John Berardo?s ?Initiation?

Malsons Media is set to launch singer Jubin Nautiyal?s international music debut in their first American feature ?Initiation?, a horror movie directed by John Berardo (Dir. The Labyrinth starring James Franco). Jubin has made two songs for the movie, one of which is titled ?Breaking the Rules? the English version of his hit song Aatishbaazi, which is slated as a promotion track for the movie?s Indian release. The reprise version of Aatishbaazi has already garnered over 7 million views on Jubin Nautiyal?s YouTube in 5 days of its release and is trending on all major music streaming apps.

The international teaser for Initiation will be released by Malsons, along with the two songs in early 2021. The entertainment start-up acquired both the film and music rights for the entire Indian sub-continent and South-East Asian territories earlier in 2020. While the movie is much anticipated because of its thrilling story-line, it?s not the only exciting element of the film; Initiation will be the first Hollywood feature film with music created by an Indian artist.

“This was an outstanding experience for me. Though under strict film guidelines, we created something exceptional and captured the true beauty of Uttarakhand which amplified the new sound that I have created with Rocky Khanna for Malsons and Shivam?s first American film project,” said the singer.

The music Jubin and Rocky have created for this film is outstanding, and we are extremely happy with the response we have gotten for Hindi versions of our film?s music. This is our first venture in American movie culture, and we also have our next project lined up with John and Brian called Grand, a television series in development that revolves around college basketball and the crypto-universe,? said Malhotra, Founder and CEO of Malsons Media.

Shivam Malhotra is the founder of Malsons Media. He is a young but seasoned entrepreneur with a six-year stint in the US where he graduated with honours from the University of Southern California. He subsequently worked for leading American film production companies like Walter Parkes + Laurie MacDonald Productions (a DreamWorks affiliate) and Captivate Entertainment (Universal Studios owned) before launching Malsons in 2018. Shivam was one of the early hires in the content team of Snapchat in 2015.
