In 2020, Uconsulting, a trucking and logistics company was founded by owner Umair Chaudry. After his uncles immigrated from Pakistan when he was around ten years old they started Sahi trucking. Iqbal and Yousef Chaudry taught Umair tough life lessons and the secrets of the trucking industry that would put him years ahead of his peers. In 2018, Umair was given the task of managing a fleet of 14 trucks and he didn’t miss a beat. After seeing how self-sufficient Umair was in running his fleet of trucks his boss at the time offered him the opportunity to start a trucking company together, and Umair of course would say yes.
This conversation would launch the creation of Shark Logistics. Umair Chaudry would be given even more responsibility and would gain massive intel about the trucking and logistic business he hadn’t seen before. With the company’s rapid success Umair states it ?went to his head? and caused him to make some bad decisions that he learned from. After one of the company’s drivers was involved in an 11 car collision resulting in one fatality, Umair and his business partner would be forced to dissolve the company.
The trucking industry is all that Umair has known since he was a child so one day in 2020 while sitting in his apartment he decided it was time to start his own company where he could set the standard once again. He knew the risk was high and even with zero dollars in capital that didn?t stop his decision to start Uconsulting. With the business experience he gained from Shark Logistics and hard work he was instilled from his uncles Umar felt there was nothing that could stop him, and he was right. Using social media he was able to quickly land clients like Point Logistics & Easy Movers, and eventually his reputation would lead him to clients from Georgia to New Jersey in a matter of months.
Umair doesn?t believe in short cuts and has used a formula combined with honesty and hard work that grew his company over 1400 in the first 180 days of its opening. He is also a staple in his community and through his Dreams Of Privilege initiative he uses 10 of his company?s profits and hosts weekly food drives for the homeless in his area. Umair understands that he is blessed and takes pride in giving back to those who are less fortunate.
