Emmy-Award Winning Producer Bud’da Joins Season 2 of Black Mafia Family

Multi-platinum music producer and composer Bud’da, who in 2021 scooped up an Emmy for his work on Unspeakable, a 60 second Black Lives Matter message from the deaf and hard of hearing community, will continue to create music for season 2 of the hit crime drama ‘Black Mafia Family’ (BMF).

The show, produced by 50 Cent and created by Randy Huggins, follows the true story of two brothers who rose from the decaying streets of southwest Detroit in the late 1980’s and gave birth to one of the most influential crime families in the country.

In addition to BMF, Disney announced at D23 Expo a new season of ‘Raven’s Home’ airing on the Disney Channel, of which the award-winning music producer and composer is a staple for the show’s score.

Bud’da, whose immense accomplishments include producing the majority of Westside Connection’s double-platinum selling masterpiece Bow Down in the 90’s and more recently he added the theme song for Sesame Street’s ‘Mecha Builders’ and ‘Become an Upstander’ to his extensive growing repertoire of music. 

Other film and TV music credits for Bud’da include multiple episodes on hit TV shows ‘Swagger’, ‘The Chi’ and ‘Our Kind of People’ to name a few.
