Surendra Pathare Foundation organizes tournaments and other sports events to promote the rich culture of sports in the people of Kharadi. The foundation organizes these events to develop the quality of teamwork amongst the people of Kharadi and give wings to the untapped talents of the society. Surendra Pathare Foundation prepares these talents to bring laurels to Kharadi by participating in the national and state-level tournaments.

Surendra Bapusaheb Pathare is a social worker who works with an ideology of the betterment of society by upgrading their skills and mindset. The change is only possible when the lifestyle of the people changes. To make that possible, Surendra Pathare Foundation is continuously reaching out to the untapped talents of the Kharadi by rendering free sports training sessions to the underprivileged and organizing several sports events for all sections of society. It is an attempt to bring harmony and brotherhood among the people of Kharadi. Surendra Bapusaheb Pathare believes that empowering sports is the best method to empower the people of Kharadi. 

“Just like a king can’t defend a castle alone, a single person can’t save the planet alone. One day we will be gone, but the changes we make today will remain; they will inspire the ones to come and continue from where we left. Let’s make sure we leave them a legacy worth carrying,” through this statement, Surendra Bapusaheb Pathare is very particular about building something worthy for the future generations, a legacy that they can carry proudly with their names. Therefore, Surendra Pathare Foundation comes forward and organizes several sports events to motivate participation from all the communities of the Kharadi. He believes that such events will build the mutual feeling of teamwork among the residents and bridge the gap of various societal differences. Besides that, Surendra Bapusaheb Pathare himself is a good sportsperson who understands the importance of sports in life. He believes that sport is not only physical but also mental exercise. 

During the pandemic, Surendra Pathare Foundation organized a seven-day free online fitness training program titled SPF FitBuddy. It was an initiative to keep everyone fit, even during the lockdown when the gyms were closed. The objective of this program was to inspire and guide people to live healthier lives. Total 175 people joined the seminar and led a healthy lifestyle throughout lockdown. SPF also sponsors free training programs for the brimming talents across the Kharadi on every conventional and unconventional sport. Under this initiative, Surendra Bapusaheb Pathare wants to promote the untapped talents from the Kharadi who never got the chance to hone their skills because of financial limitations. The training is provided for Basketball, Archery, Football, Skating & Cricket. Hence, SPF is preparing the future star sports person to bring laurels. SPF organized a Sub-junior district Archery Championship in Kharadi in association with the Pune District Archery Association to give excellent exposure to the players of Kharadi. This championship observed the participation of five hundred players that cleared the public’s love and brimming enthusiasm for the Archery. SPF also provided professional training and different types of expensive equipment to polish the skills of these brimming enthusiasts. Surendra Pathare Foundation has also hosted the first-ever day-night cricket tournament for all the societies of Kharadi. SPF Championship 2021 lasted for forty days across 108 communities in Kharadi. This tournament observed the participation of 1000+ people, including males, females, and children. Throughout this tournament that the Surendra Bapusaheb Pathare’s foundation organized, people developed a strong bond of unity and shared similar goals. Hence, through sports activities, Surendra Bapusaheb Pathare wants to revive the spark of brotherhood and harmony among the people of Kharadi.
