Awanish Singh belongs to a small town called Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh. As a child, he had a great interest in the acting field and wrote some poems too.
Talking about his education
He had completed his schooling at St. John’s School, ICSC Board, Higher secondary education from Shah Faiz Public School, CBSE Board, and later pursued BA.LLB. as his parents motivated him to do so.
As mentioned above he had a great interest in acting and in the initial year of his college, he joined the “Drama Club” where his acting performance was very well appreciated by his peers and mentors due to which his friend suggested him go to Mumbai so that he can get a better opportunity but due to his family issues he can’t go there and came up with an alternative solution to creating a YouTube channel so that his skills can be seen by the whole world.
So in November 2016, he had created a YouTube channel and asked his friends to subscribe to it by then he had around 800-900 subscribers but he had not posted any content yet.
So finally in January 2017, he started posting content regularly where many of his videos went viral and few didn’t but he knew he was on the correct path of success and went on making quality content.
His content was focused on UP as he was born and bought up there and he knew them closely as well. One of the viral video was “UP slang” which was a huge sensation and went viral on social media platforms which led to growing the subscriber to 900k to 1 million subscribers on YouTube and from then he started focusing more on the quality content so that he can maintain the expectations of the audience and not disappoint them. And unbelievingly he was the youngest person in India to achieve 1 million subscribers on YouTube! What a proud moment for him and the whole of Uttar Pradesh as well.
Later on, he started making short films which then was something new and rarely people used to do at that period.
His first ever short film was called, “The Life Recall” based on a motivational theme on drugs consumption in the early stages of life.
Which gained a huge appreciation from the audience as well as from his friends and peers. And people could relate to the slogan of the short film which says, ” unse pyaar karo jo tumse pyaar karta hai”
Then he started focussing more on the long format content which was ideally between 12-15 mins videos.
To come up with something different he thought of introducing rapping in the videos as he also had a great interest in it.
He met some underground rappers but they couldn’t make up the expectations which he had so he started to write the lyrics and also learned beats within the 6 months and is now ready to release his first album in November or December month.
