Being an entrepreneur is not as easy as it looks. The sheer amount of dedication that is required for one to be successful in their chosen field is enough to make many aspirants quit. Pick any success story you want and you will see that before it was a success story, it was full of hurdles.
Entrepreneurs don’t work 9-to-5, they work 24×7 365 and a prime example of this is Avi Mittal. Avi is the Managing partner of Golden Ace Ventures and a board member of various companies. He is a serial entrepreneur and has established himself as a strong individual with his own identity.
Avi started his business in the tech space, following which he switched to sports entrepreneurship. Since then, he has diversified his business interests into various fields. Talking about the same, the entrepreneur shares, “The journey has been fruitful for me. I first ventured into the tech space, I had a good exit from that and it allowed me to enter areas like sports entrepreneurship of Intellectual properties like super fight league and super boxing league.”
“From there I went on different boards of other sports leagues and at that time, sports was a major boom in India so I rode that wave. It gave me amazing returns and helped me establish myself as a serial sports entrepreneur.”
Talking about expanding his horizons, Avi adds, “after a while I realised that I had all my eggs in once basket and that I needed to broaden and balance my portfolio so that’s when I started entering other markets such as FMCG, Insurance booking, energy projects, Ed tech and other business avenues.”
