Marco Infante: Inspiration to be Inspired.
The very famous quote “Acting is behaving truthfully under imaginary circumstances” by Sanford Meisner inspired many people to pursue a career in acting. One of them is Marco Infante, who is one of the most talented and versatile artists in Hollywood today. He is what they call a triple threat, “actor, writer, and director”. Born in Lima, Peru Infante moved to the United States at the age of six to escape government turmoil. Upon arriving he immersed himself in arts and eventually gained over 18+ years of experience in theater.
Infante was mentored by movie star Burt Reynolds for a semester at Florida State University and eventually starred in a short film by him. He is very passionate about his work and feels very connected to everything that is related to art. He enjoys storytelling and believes in realism, which is a developed set of dramatic and theatrical conventions with the aim of bringing a greater commitment of real life to texts and performances. Infante has appeared on ABC’s Melissa & Joey and USA Network’s Monk. He is most recognizable for his Doritos, 7Up, and Sibu Beauty’s National Commercials as well as created some of the most hilarious sketch comedy available on the Internet today under his Youtube channels: Baby Gorilla Productions and The Guys You Go Home With.
When not in front of the camera you can find Infante on the other side flexing his directing muscle. Some of his directing credits include Drew Seeley’s music video Lazy Daze & Fly, a short thriller film called Circle of Death, an action series titled Intrusion, which both are available to rent on Amazon Prime today. Recently, he acted and directed the film A Walk in the Park, which has won several “Best Feature” categories in both national and international film awards.
