Many people are stuck doing the same job they hate. As a child growing up, your parents or relatives may influence your career path. The result will be your becoming a doctor, an engineer, or a lawyer. But not everyone is meant to be these professionals. Their role in society is appreciable, though you should not be one of them if your dream is elsewhere. The earlier you quit what you are doing and follow your passion, the better and more successful you will be. That was the case with Noah Aussems.
Noah changed her career path to be an entrepreneur and a nightlife personality, where he is currently doing well. Despite his young age, Noah has risen above all odds to be one of the most recognized nightlife personalities in New York City. But how did it begin?
Noah started out by following the status quo. As expected, he graduated from Ithaca College before moving to NYC, where he secured a job with KPMG, a global auditing company. But before long, Noah realized a big mistake was accepting the job offer. Working at KPMG was not just for him. Noah knew he had to move out. However, Noah never had any exit plans. What followed was a bold but risky step that shaped him into who he is today.
Noah worked at KPMG for two years until COVID-19 before deciding to quit. He quit his job without any savings. Noah was aware of the risk but never cared because he wanted to follow his passion. That was when he started venturing into nightlife. Noah had the humblest beginning, throwing just pop parties and events here and there in NYC. His venues were nothing better than warehouses and steakhouses, but he never gave up.
Patience pays, and Noah’s success story and entrepreneurial journey prove it. He patiently grew his brand, expanding into city clubs. After about a year of working tirelessly with nothing to show for it, Noah had a breakthrough. He created his own space and became one of the youngest founders and CEOs of Sucker Punch Sports Bar in Manhattan at 25 years old. It is a 3,400 SQ FT sports bar and lounge with the best facilities. The venue is known for promoting and broadcasting boxing and UFC, which are Noah’s favorite sports.
Noah dreams of being the best nightlife personality in NYC in the coming years. Noah and his partners plan to open more sucker punch sports bars throughout the United States. He also wants to open another nightlife venue in NYC and a coffee shop. They have set a target to meet and are dedicated to achieving that.
Noah’s entrepreneurial journey is an inspiration. It shows everything is possible if you stay on course and keep fighting. In his words, Noah tells people to stop doing things they don’t like and chase their dreams. He was not afraid of leaving his stable job to follow his passion. And what everyone sees in him now is a successful young man who loves his work and lives happily.
