The search for missing college student Riley Strain continues, prompting his mother, Michelle Whiteid, to share a tearful message during a recent press conference. Alongside her husband, Chris Whiteid, Michelle expressed her hope for Riley’s safe return and emphasized their unwavering determination to bring him home.

During the press conference organized by the United Cajun Navy, Michelle tearfully described Riley as “everything” to her family, highlighting their relentless focus on finding him. Riley, a 22-year-old University of Missouri student, disappeared on March 8 while on a trip to Nashville with his Delta Chi fraternity brothers. His last known whereabouts include Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk and Casa Rosa.

Addressing questions about Riley’s decision to leave Luke Bryan’s bar alone after initially being with friends, Michelle acknowledged the heartbreak experienced by Riley’s college friends. She emphasized the deep bond between Riley and his friends, underscoring their collective anguish over his disappearance.

Despite the geographic distance between Nashville and their home in Springfield, Missouri, Michelle and Chris remain optimistic about finding Riley. They expressed gratitude for the ongoing search efforts and the support they have received from the community. Despite the challenges and frustrations of the search, the couple remains steadfast in their belief that Riley will be found.

As the investigation into Riley’s disappearance continues, Michelle and Chris are appreciative of the efforts made by investigators. Despite the passage of nearly 12 days since Riley went missing and the discovery of his bank card near the Cumberland River, they remain hopeful and determined to bring him home.

The emotional plea from Riley’s mother underscores the profound impact of his disappearance on his family and friends, highlighting the urgent need for continued support and assistance in the search efforts.
