Annemarie Wiley, the newest addition to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” has announced her departure from the Bravo series after just one season. In an Instagram post shared on March 21, the nurse anesthetist expressed disappointment over her decision not to return for Season 14.

Wiley revealed that she had not initially auditioned for the show but was approached by producers six weeks into filming Season 13. Despite her excitement at the opportunity, she felt constrained by the expectations set by the production team and lamented that viewers did not get to see her true self or learn about her unique life story.

During her tenure on the show, Wiley became embroiled in drama with co-star Sutton Stracke, particularly surrounding Stracke’s health issues. However, Wiley clarified that she is not fixated on medical matters, contrary to what may have been portrayed on TV.

In her departure announcement, Wiley emphasized her identity as a proud Black woman and highlighted her desire to showcase her strong Black family unit, which includes her husband, retired NFL player Marcellus Wiley, and their four children.

Wiley expressed gratitude to fans who supported her and extended well wishes to her former castmates for the upcoming season. She thanked Bravo for the opportunity but ultimately felt it was time to part ways with the show.

As Wiley bids farewell to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” fans are left to speculate about the future direction of the series and the dynamics among the remaining cast members.
