Victor Gonzalez, who was expelled from the island, thinks back on his passionate relationship with Carmen and Bergie on Love Island USA.
Even though Victor Gonzalez‘s stay on Love Island USA was brief, it was nonetheless dramatic. The Spanish wrestler had a developing relationship with Jasmine after none of the women wanted to get together with him before bombshell Carmen captured his attention.
However, that connection was short-lived because Carmen began a possible romance with Bergie after feeling that she and the other person were not progressing at the same rate. Victor and Carmen were regarded as the public’s least favourite couple as a result of the conflicts that resulted from this love triangle. The islanders chose to send Victor home, a choice some later regretted, mostly because of Bergie’s pleadings for them to give him and Carmen another chance.
Victor was interviewed by EW to discuss his experience in the villa, the complicated love triangle, and the islanders’ misgivings over sending him home after Carmen friend-zoned Bergie.

My friends shouldn’t have had to decide between us, was my goal. Having to choose between two individuals I care about would not be pleasant for me.
I’m sure my friends are rooting for me and want me to stay, but it seems logical that if anybody is going to stay, you want to be sure they can connect with other islanders. I can see why [Carmen] stayed since I didn’t feel any kinship with anyone, and I won’t pretend to feel that way to stay.due to the conversation she was having with Bergie.
Carmen came to play, but I had nothing against her. She came prepared because this is a competition. She exerted every effort to maintain her life. She took me at first, changed her name to Bergie, and is now presumably dating another islander. She revealed her genuine self there.
She must have done the same with Bergie and me since everything changed the following day. She approaches you, says what you want to hear, and then she alters. She mentioned all the PDA, as one example. She was incredibly close to me and cuddled up on me the first night we were together. I don’t know who I spent the night with because it wasn’t you, I said when she appeared the next day out of the blue. She never came to me, but I overheard her discussing how uncomfortable she was with others.
