Story
A captivating fantasy romance K-drama, The Expect Love transports viewers on an emotional journey full of supernatural, mystery, and love. Winnie plays Yoon Ji-hyun, a young lady who finds her special talent of seeing and speaking with spirits in a world where humans and spirits live side by side but are not allowed to interact. They do face some difficulties along the way, though. Park Ji-hoon, portrayed by Ma Dong Chen, is an accomplished exorcist with a troubled past who is apprehensive about Ji-hyun’s abilities and wants to keep the barrier between the two worlds intact. Ji-hyun and Soo-hyun must balance their developing feelings for one another with their duty to defend the living and the dead as hostilities escalate.

As Yoon Ji-hyun, Winnie gives an outstanding performance, capturing the strength and vulnerability of her character with nuance and realism. Kim Soo-hyun is portrayed by Li Jiu Lin in a way that is equally captivating, giving his part as the tragic spirit looking for closure a blend of charm and melancholy. Their obvious chemistry gives their developing relationship more depth.
Park Ji-hoon, portrayed by Ma Dong Chen, is a character with his own personal demons and an antagonist, which brings an interesting dynamic to the narrative.
