Story:
“Sword and Fairy 4” is a fantasy period drama directed by Yang Xuan and Huang Ye. Set against a backdrop of conflict between humans and demons, the story begins 19 years ago when the Qionghua Sect used the double swords of Wangshu and Xihe to trap the demon realm, leading to a devastating war. Yun Tianqing (played by Baron Chen) and Su Yu, former disciples of the Qionghua Sect, leave due to disagreements over cultivation philosophy and settle on Qingluan Peak. Their son, Yun Tianhe (played by Chen Zheyuan), grows up unaware of his parents’ past after they pass away.

Yun Tianhe encounters Han Lingsha (played by Ju Jingyi), who intrudes into his parents’ tomb. Together, they descend from the mountain to uncover his parents’ secrets. Along the way, they meet Liu Mengli (played by Mao Xiaohui), and all three become disciples of the Kunxu Qionghua Sect. Under the guidance of Murong Ziying (played by Mao Zijun), they form a close bond as they unravel their intertwined destinies and confront painful truths from their pasts.
