Story

Romance, mystery, and adventure are expertly woven together in the captivating fantasy drama Miss You Forever. It is set against the turbulent backdrop of ancient China and chronicles the adventures of Li Mengjue and Xie Jingshu, who after the infamous Huachao Tower Incident become a “hundred-day couple.” To outsiders, they may seem to be madly in love, but they are actually hatching schemes and keeping sinister secrets from one another.

Li Mengjue is a lady of refinement and dignity who is actually a scout from the Suoming Sect, looking into the mysterious case of “Tianshu.” The Northern Marquis is actually her partner, Xie Jingshu, who pretends to be a kind and considerate playboy. When their true intentions are exposed on a stormy and dark night, the façade of their relationship comes tumbling down.

The pair, in spite of their mistrust of one another, temporarily joins forces to investigate a string of killings connected to their common history, including the Tianshu mysteries and the massacre. They set out on a treacherous quest with allies Lu Xi’er, Jing Yan, and Liu Yu’an in an attempt to locate the elusive “Shortstalk Monkshood Root” and apprehend the traitors in charge of the mayhem.

The complex storyline and well-rounded characters of “Miss You Forever” make it stand out. Keeping viewers on the edge of their seats, the drama deftly blends elements of mystery, romance, and fantasy.
