As Mo An’an, Yu Yi Lei gives an outstanding performance that perfectly conveys the character’s tenacity and fragility. Her relationship with Yan Zi Xian (Xiao Chu) is incredibly endearing and heartbreaking due to their obvious chemistry. Yan Zi Xian portrays Xiao Chu in a way that is both compelling and dangerous as he negotiates the complexities of his position of power.
As the crafty Bai Lian, Pearl excels, bringing a level of drama and suspense to the story with her schemes. The antagonist, Duke Li, played by Zhao Wen Long, raises the stakes for our heroes even further.
