Story

Viewers are taken to the turbulent region of Zichuan in the historical fantasy drama Eternal Brotherhood, where bravery, honor, and loyalty are put to the test in the face of unrelenting conflict. Under the skillful direction of Zhang Meng (“The Great Ruler”) and Wei Lizhou (“Ultimate Note”), the series masterfully brings to life the richly detailed world of ancient clans and epic battles, adapted from Lao Zhu’s novel “Zichuan.”

The protagonist of the tale is Yang Xu Wen’s Zichuan Xiu, a renowned military leader of the Zichuan clan. After winning significant battles at the border, Zichuan Xiu makes his way back to the capital, restoring some peace to his war-torn country. But new threats soon appear, so his victorious return is short-lived. The land descends into chaos once more when Yang Minghua, a powerful court official with dark intentions, starts a rebellion.

Zichuan Xiu sets out on a dangerous mission to put an end to the uprising and restore order with his sworn brothers Di Lin (played by Liu Yu Ning) and Site Lin (played by Zhang Ming En). Their brotherhood is put to the test like never before as they fight formidable foes and negotiate the perilous political terrain.

The neighboring Sairong clan declares war on Zichuan just as peace appears to be on the horizon. Zichuan Xiu and his brothers rally their army for a series of titanic battles, determined to defend their homeland and loved ones. They set out to bring Zichuan lasting peace, but their journey is not without risk, sacrifice, and heroism.
