Actress Song Hye Kyo and writer Kim Eun Sook will collaborate on the upcoming South Korean revenge drama The Glory. We anticipate watching the drama on Netflix in early 2023 now that filming is over.
The Glory is a forthcoming South Korean revenge-drama Netflix Original series penned by Descendants of the Sun author Kim Eun Sook. Ahn Gil Ho, who previously helmed the dramas Happiness, Stranger, and Memories of the Alhambra, will be directing the series.
What is The Glory’s plot?
Moon Dong Eun aspired to be an architect when she was in high school. Moon Dong Eun, on the other hand, is forced to drop out of school after being subjected to a brutally violent attack by her bullies. Years later, the bully marries, has a child, and enrols at the same primary school where Moon Dong Eun is now the homeroom teacher. Moon Don Eun launches her plan of vengeance against her old bullies and the pupils who stood by and let it happen after years of planning.
Who are The Glory’s cast members?
Song Hye Kyo’s casting brings her and writer Kim Eun-sook together again, after they previously collaborated on the big South Korean blockbuster series Descendants of the Sun.
Lee Do Hyun was recently a fan favourite in the Netflix Original series Sweet Home. Im Ji Yeon will make her Netflix debut in the Korean adaption of Money Heist later in 2022.
Park Sung-Hoon will make his Netflix debut with The Glory. The actor is well known for his roles in the films Joseon Exorcist and Psychopath Diary.

When will The Glory be available on Netflix?
On February 3rd, 2022, lead actress Song Hye Kyo announced on Instagram that she has gotten the scripts for The Glory’s first two episodes. She captioned the photo “Start,” leading us to believe that filming on the drama has begun.
Because filming took longer than intended, we no longer expect The Glory to be available on Netflix before the end of 2022. Instead, the first season of The Glory will now be available on Netflix in Q1 or Q2 of 2023.
According to MyDramaList, the series will have a total of eight episodes. This leads us to believe that the drama will be released in its entirety, but we’re still waiting for Netflix to confirm this.
