The teaser trailer for Netflix Korea’s new drama ‘Cafe Minamdang’ was released today. Nam Han Joon (Seo In Guk), who has a suit fit, appears in the released video, unfolds a colourful fan, and mentions that he is a shaman. Gong Soo Cheol (Kwak Si Yang), Jona Dan (Baek Seo Hoo), and Nam Hae Joon (Kang Mina) of the cafe ‘Minamdang’ then appeared and demonstrated their charms.

The strange lines of Han Jae Hee (Oh Yeon Seo) are also included. “Have you not been sentenced to prison for fabricating evidence three years ago?” she asked. “Did he gain powers in prison?” he wondered. This is a reference to Nam Han Joon’s unusual background. Furthermore, Nam Hae Joon uses CCTV to observe Nam Han Joon dealing with VVIP customers in a fortune-telling shop, and Gong Soo Chul shows a completely different character last name during the day and night, which piques the viewer’s interest.

Tension was increased by the appearance of Han Jae Hee being pursued by the “Minamdang” squad members at the end of the film. When Nam Han Joon remarked, “Let’s not truly see each other again,” he held Han Jae Hee back from falling, which subtly heightened the tension. Another thing that was noted was their complex relationship.

The film “Cafe Minamdang” is based on the same-titled book by Jeong Jae Han, a popular and talented author who took home the top prize in the KakaoPage mobile novel contest. Former profiler and current shaman Park Soo Dang wrote this mystery-comic investigative play. On June 27, the first broadcast will take place.

Seo In Guk boasts his imposing appearance as Nam Han-jun in the trailer. He changed from a prisoner to a well-liked shaman. The trailer alludes to an intriguing story between them as they argue all the time with detective Han Jae-hee, who is played by Oh Yeon Seo.
Kwak Si Yang assumes the character of Gong Su-chul, breaking the stereotype of an attractive cafe barista by day and detective by night. He strives for justice alongside Han-jun and has a sensual masculine charm.
