The first official poster for the upcoming K-drama ‘Our Blooming Youth’ has been released after a long wait. Park Hyung-sik, a Korean heartthrob who took a year off after the show Happiness but is now back on the small screen, and can be seen on the poster. Originally known as “Youth Monthly Talk,” the upcoming historical drama is a romantic suspense film.
Our Blooming Youth tells the tale of a prince who is under a strange curse and a brilliant woman who is charged with killing her family. Their relationship grows as the guy defends the woman from her unjust charge and the woman frees the man from his curse. In the movie “Our Blooming Youth,” Park Hyung Sik plays Crown Prince Lee Hwan and Jeon So Nee plays Min Jae Yi, a brilliant woman.
The poster shows Park Hyung Sik, who plays Crown Prince Lee Hwan and is shrouded in mystery. The royal prince, who is afflicted by an unidentified curse, stands by himself in a dingy library and seems to shine even in the oppressive gloom. He is the subject of numerous riddles, and bewilderment is evident on his face. Why was he cursed in such a way? Who is the real offender? The statement “Who must I trust, and who must I be sceptical of?” placed at the bottom of the billboard effectively expresses the crown prince’s struggle to put his trust in others given how many questions remain unanswered.
Along with the main characters, the following actors have been confirmed to appear in the upcoming drama Our Blooming Youth: Pyo Ye-jin, Yoon Jong-seok, Lee Tae-sun, and Lee Jong-hyuk. Screenwriter Jung Hyung-jung wrote the script, and director Lee Jong Jae is in charge of directing the programme. The first episode of “Our Blooming Youth” will air on February 6, 2023, at 8:50 KST.
