House of Dragons: Miley Alcock talks Rainilla’s obsession with Uncle Damon

 House of the Dragons gave  viewers  what it took to deliver his seven seasons of Game of Thrones in his four episodes: an incestuous romance set in House Targaryen. In the latest installment, Matt Smith’s Damon and Miley Alcock’s Raenira (uncle and niece, mind you) come pretty close to honoring their ancestors’ incestuous traditions. , talks about  why he feels his character is drawn to Damon. 

 Based on George RR Martin’s Fire and Blood, House of the Dragons is the Game of Thrones sequel based on Martin’s successful book series A Song of Ice and Fire. The show is set 200 years before the events of King Viserys Targaryen’s GoT during his reign  (Paddy Considine). Daemon is his younger brother who wants the crown for himself and manipulates and tricks everyone into getting it.His character is now  his brother’s daughter, Princess Raenira.

 While discussing her character and her relationship with Damon, actress Millie Alcock, who plays the young princess in the series, said:

Martin, Ryan Condal,  Miguel Sapochnik, Sarah Hess, Joslyn Diaz, Vince Jellal Dis, Ron Schmidt will serve as executive producer. New episodes of the HBO show stream every Monday morning on his Disney+ Hotstar in India.
