Christmas festivities have arrived on Google Search with a variety of fun activities for users. To access Google’s Christmas surprises, users can simply search for “Christmas Day” on mobile or web, and a bouncing red gift box will appear at the top of the screen. Clicking on the gift box will redirect users to a special section featuring Google’s Santa Tracker.
The Santa Tracker allows users to follow the fictional journey of Santa and his reindeer as they deliver gifts around the world. Santa’s journey spans 25 hours, starting in far eastern Russia and covering various locations. The tracker provides information on the distance traveled and the number of gifts delivered.
In addition to the Santa Tracker, Google offers a range of Christmas games, including Santa Selfie, Ollie Under The Sea, Elf Jamband, Wrap Battle, Snowball Storm, Penguin Bolt, Gift Slingshot, Elf Glider, Santa Search, and more. These games feature Google’s signature bright color palette and festive animations, providing entertainment without the need for separate downloads or installs.
For users interested in animated movies, Google offers selections such as “Out Like A Night” and “A Day At The Museum.” One notable addition is special coding games, such as Code Lab and Code Boogie, catering to the growing trend of users, particularly young ones, engaging in coding. These games provide a fun co-op gaming experience and teach basic coding concepts like stacks.
