Former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas recently shared a shocking and absurd story about disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein during an episode of his podcast, “No Chill.” According to Arenas, he overheard a conversation involving Weinstein and a group of men sitting courtside at an NBA playoff game. The conversation reportedly centered around Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry, who had walked by the group. Arenas claimed that Weinstein allegedly insinuated that Berry had engaged in intimate relations with the men to secure a movie role.
In recounting the incident, Arenas stated that the men were discussing how Berry was now acting as if she didn’t know them and that she hadn’t behaved that way when she needed a part in a movie. According to Arenas, the men claimed that “every single one of them hit,” suggesting that they had all been involved with Halle Berry romantically.
Weinstein, once a powerful figure in Hollywood, faced a major sex scandal in 2017 when numerous women came forward to accuse him of sexual assault. The revelations led to Weinstein being convicted as a sex offender. The incident described by Arenas is said to have occurred during a playoff game, but it’s important to note that Arenas was not playing in the playoffs during that specific year. He was with the Washington Wizards at the time, and his playoff debut with the team occurred the following year.
