First look of Hilary Duff's How I Met Your Father reboot was published today.

For those who haven’t seen it, How I Met Your Mother, which featured Josh Radnor, Jason Segel and Cobie Smulders from 2005 to 2014, is the inspiration for this programme. Ted Mosby’s (Radnor) love life was chronicled in the series via the framing device of his telling his future children the storey of how he and their mother first met (Radnor).

Aside from a lukewarm response to the last episode of How I Met Your Mother’s 2014 season, the show was well acclaimed. With Kim Cattrall portraying an older Sophie, who tells her children how she met their father, Hilary Duff and Kim Cattrall Reboot How I Met Your Father is an updated version of the original idea, with Kim Cattrall playing an older version of Hilary Duff’s Sophie.

Among Sophie’s pals are Chris Lowell, Francia Raisa, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran, and Suraj Sharma. How I Met Your Father will premiere exclusively on Hulu on January 18, 2022.

How I Met Your Father teaser was posted today by Hulu, offering fans their first glimpse at Duff and her companions in action. Set to the tune “Sooner or Later,” the trailer gives viewers a taste of the new people they’ll meet in the programme. As a bonus feature, the video also details Sophie’s many misadventures on the New York dating scene.

How I Met Your Father was written by This Is Us authors Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. Finally, in August of this year, HIMYF production finally got under way after a long period of scheduling problems and difficulties
