Star of EastEnders Molly Rainford recently discussed the most recent development in Anna Knight’s continuous hunt for her mother.
Gina and Anna’s mother, Rose, who is currently residing in France with Peter, is actually Cindy Beale, as show viewers are already aware. Gina and George have given up trying to find Rose, but Anna is still holding out hope that she’ll come back and has made the decision to handle things on her own.
In recent episodes, Anna hired a private investigator in secret to find the answers she was looking for, which got her into trouble with her sister Gina when she was discovered.
The actor shared her opinions on the plot, Anna’s behaviour, and Gina’s demand that they choose between her and their mother.

She responded, “I don’t know whether I would say it’s fair, but I get why Gina said that and feels this way.
Despite being only slightly older than Anna, Gina has long taken on the role of mother. Gina is doing this action because she wants to protect Anna because she has always felt the burden of her mother leaving, more than Anna is aware of.
“I believe Anna appreciates that, but I don’t believe she feels it’s fair because she wants to learn more about her mother,” she continued. That, in my opinion, is what overcomes it and convinces her to contact the investigator.
Anna expressed her deep regret, saying that it was never her intention. Because her dad and Gina are her support system, I believe it’s difficult for her to understand their disappointment in her.
Rainford hinted to more strife for the Knights later in the year, when Cindy is anticipated to return to Walford.
“More curiosity, a lot more head-versus-heart conflict, and hopefully some discoveries,” she remarked.
