The Download Festival team has unveiled the highly-anticipated lineup for the 2024 edition, following in the footsteps of other European festivals like Rock AM Ring and Nova Rock. In an impressive announcement, the festival will see two new headliners this year, marking the first time this has happened since 2012.
Queens Of The Stone Age will kick off the festival as the Friday night headliners, while Fall Out Boy, fresh from their extensive UK tour, will headline on Saturday night. The festival’s elder statesmen, Avenged Sevenfold, will close the festivities with their third headlining appearance this year, promising an unforgettable performance with tracks like “A Little Piece Of Heaven.”
The lineup is jam-packed with notable acts. Royal Blood will make their Download Festival debut, and the reunited Pantera is set to take the stage. Machine Head will return to Donington for the first time since 2012, and punk and pop-punk enthusiasts can look forward to The Offspring, Billy Talent, and Bowling For Soup. Sum 41 will make their last UK festival appearance before their retirement, offering a special treat for fans.
While She Sleeps is expected to bring their arena-level production to Donington, taking on their biggest Download slot yet. Babymetal will make their return to the festival, and Corey Taylor will perform in solo mode. The lineup also includes acts like The Used, Biohazard, Thy Art Is Murder, and The Black Dahlia Murder, making their UK return.
Heilung will introduce their unique dark folk sounds to Download for the first time, and Bad Omens will also make their festival debut. Several other favorites are featured in the lineup, including Holding Absence, Bleed From Within, URNE, and various hardcore acts such as Scowl, Make Them Suffer, Zulu, and Counterparts. ERRA, Imminence, Alien Weaponry, and Heriot will also contribute to the festival’s diverse musical landscape. Additionally, Hoobastank is set to perform their entire album “The Reason.”
Download Festival 2024, presented by its first-ever headline partner, Liquid Death, will take place from June 14th to June 16th, 2024, at the iconic Donington Park. The campsite will open from June 12th to June 17th.
Barclaycard pre-sale tickets for Download Festival 2024 will be available starting from 9 pm on November 7th. The festival’s official pre-sale will commence on November 8th, while general ticket sales will open on November 9th.
