The Dave Matthews Band has unveiled the dates for their much-anticipated annual summer amphitheater tour, slated to kick off on May 22, 2024, at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, FL. The extensive 32-date tour will traverse the United States, culminating with a trio of shows at the iconic Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA, on August 30, 31, and September 1. The Gorge has become a traditional venue for the band to celebrate Labor Day weekend, having sold out all 70 of their previous shows there.

This year’s tour promises an exciting lineup of multiple-night engagements at various venues, including stops in West Palm Beach, Jacksonville, East Troy (WI), Noblesville (IN), Saratoga Springs (NY), Gilford (NH), and Greenwood Village (CO). With Live Nation promoting the tour, fans can expect a series of dynamic performances across the country.

One of the highlights of this summer’s tour is the introduction of the Dave Matthews Band’s new sustainability efforts, aligning with Live Nation’s “On the Road To Zero Waste” initiative. As part of this initiative, the band, led by UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador Dave Matthews, aims to minimize the environmental footprint of concert attendees. The goal is to divert at least 90% of fan-generated waste from landfills.

Live Nation will actively support this initiative by implementing zero waste green teams, zero waste stations, food donations, waste sorting, composting, and a reduction in single-use plastics at their venues. The band’s commitment extends to planting one million trees in partnership with The Nature Conservancy’s Plant a Billion Trees campaign, bringing their total trees planted to five million since joining the reforestation project in 2020.

Furthermore, the Dave Matthews Band is dedicated to offsetting carbon emissions from both the band and fan travel. This initiative is achieved through collaboration with REVERB, emphasizing the group’s commitment to environmental stewardship.

The summer tour is not only a celebration of the band’s iconic music but also an opportunity for fans to engage in sustainable practices and contribute to meaningful environmental initiatives. As the Dave Matthews Band continues to captivate audiences with their soulful performances, this tour stands as a testament to their dedication to both music and the planet. The band’s impact goes beyond the stage, fostering a community of fans who share in the commitment to environmental responsibility.

As anticipation builds for the 96th Academy Awards, “Letter to a Pig” stands as a testament to the power of animation to communicate profound narratives and explore the depths of human experience. The film’s nomination is not only a recognition of its artistic merit but also an opportunity to shed light on the vital themes it addresses, inviting audiences worldwide to engage with its impactful storytelling.
