Angel Carter, the sister of late Bobbie Jean Carter, has broken her silence following Bobbie Jean’s sudden passing. In an emotional tribute posted on Instagram on December 24, Angel reminisced about their shared childhood and the bond they held.

“To my older sister Bobbie,” Angel’s heartfelt message began, accompanied by a montage of photographs capturing Bobbie Jean’s younger years. “You had a great sense of humor, and a lively spirit. Growing up, I was your baby, and you were my best friend.”

Angel acknowledged the challenges Bobbie Jean faced throughout her life. “Life wasn’t fair to you, that I know,” she continued. “Sometimes, it feels like you didn’t have a shot, no matter what.”

Bobbie Jean, who passed away at the age of 41, was not only Angel’s sister but also the sibling of Nick Carter and the late Aaron Carter and Leslie Carter. The cause of her death remains undisclosed.

Reflecting on their shared experiences, Angel emphasized the importance of preserving innocence for children, especially during their formative years. “Experiencing innocence instead of being burdened by trauma, pain, and suffering is incredibly important,” Angel wrote. “I know why Leslie, Aaron, and now you ended up in the circumstances that you did. I share the pain we experienced during our childhood, and I’m sorry you didn’t have an opportunity for a better life.”

Angel urged for societal change, advocating for open conversations about mental health. “We all need to break down barriers, reduce stigmas, and cultivate a society where seeking mental health support is met with understanding and encouragement,” she stated. “This starts with our children, and creating healthy conversation within the home.
